“They were unsupportive of ‘Punch An Ignorant Stranger In The Mouth Day’ too, and without official support and funding we’ve been forced to combine the events into one big party,” claimed one of the organizers, who went on to explain that in the true spirit of both events, it will be both acceptable for participants to board buses and sneeze on somebody they don’t know, as well as for the sneezee to punch the sneezer in the face.  “It would also be acceptable,” he continued, “to sneeze on a stranger on the bus, and then punch that same stranger in the face for using improper bus etiquette, like not giving up their seat for the elderly or the expecting.”

We here at the Blirb, as frequent patrons of the bus, like this idea, and will be sure to take this opportunity to vent some frustrations experienced on public transit.  Why, just the other day, two teenage girls were occupying seven seats on the back of the bus, and one of them was talking about how she loves her boyfriend, just loves him, but if Mark were to want to fool around with her, she would do it in a second, and was flaunting her desire to experience this infidelity so loud that he could hear it over his iPod, which he had turned up as loud as it would go and listening to Ben Weasel And His Iron String Quartet, which is not the most mellow of experiences.

Between you and me, though, I kind of doubt that these monkeys will get their act together that quickly.
